We have had many successful hearing loss programs that have transformed lives and raised a greater understanding to our chapter members. Our past initiatives have focused on raising awareness, providing access to hearing aids, and offering support to individuals with hearing impairments. Through our dedicated efforts and outreach, we have empowered individuals to overcome communication barriers and fully engage in their daily lives. Our commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by hearing loss drives us to create even more impactful programs in the future. Together, let’s continue to change lives and create a world where everyone can experience the beauty of sound.

Chapter Activities

Holiday Joys and Jitters

Venue: Zoom
Date and Time: Sunday, January 12 |  2 – 4 p.m. ET.

Description:
Now that we’ve survived the holidays, join us for a “sharing session” about the challenges and triumphs we experience throughout the holiday season. Viola DeVinney, HLAA MC Chapter steering committee member, will lead and moderate an interactive discussion about how our social activities are affected by hearing loss. We encourage people to share about any challenges they face, as well as positive experiences, and helpful strategies they used to get through the holidays with hearing loss. What better way to start a new year than to connect over our shared experiences and learn from each other!
